For the past month I’ve been prepping to start this blog by writing blog post ideas and story ideas and outlines so that I would have some confidence that I’d be able to accomplish the goals I have for myself and this blog. I dug out my old voice recorder and started using commute times as creativity muscle work outs. Either coming up with blog ideas or stories or working through stories I’m writing.<\/p>\n

This blog is at its simplest a place for me to share pieces of my writing but also as a personal record of progress towards being a better writer. I chose “Rough Writing” as the title because my stories are not going to be perfect. They are going to be rough. But I’m committed to writing them.
